Media Services

We are looking for individuals for the following fun tasks:
—Run cameras for worship service.
—Help set up/ tear down and or operate sound board for the worship service.
—Assist sound tech in pulling wires and miscellaneous construction duties pertaining to sound and lighting.
—Help in stage and set design for main stage in the auditorium.

No specific skill is required—we will train you.

Guest Relations

Parking Team—This ministry sets up and takes down the first-time guest parking lot. It’s a small but fun a vital part of the weekend service. We set up on Saturday mornings 8:30-10 AM and then take it down on Sundays at 11:30-12:30 PM.

The “Sparkle” Team is looking for people to help right after the service to help straighten up the tables and change out some light décor. It takes about 20 minutes and it’s a big help.

Greeters—We are always inviting people to serve as people greeters at all of our services. You are the first impression to our guests. You can serve weekly or once a month.

Join the SCC Conference Team!

We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our fun team for conferences. Tasks can include greeting, parking, registration, set up, resource centers and more. Perks include discounts on admission.

Thrift Store Weekend Campus Volunteer

Volunteers needed to supervise the Thrift Store truck on Saturday evening and Sunday mornings. Duties include opening the truck and taking in donations during the church services. The job is suitable for one or more. This is a great opportunity for a couple or friends that want to serve together. Needs to be able to lift 20-30 pounds.

Schedule: Minimum of two weekends per month. Saturday from 4:30-6:00 and Sunday mornings from 9:00-12:00, in the church parking lot.

Thrift Store

We have positions in the Thrift Stores that help spread the joy of the Lord.

You can:

•   help customers
•   run the cash registers
•   decorate the shop
•   sort through donations.

For you big and strong people, you can make the rounds on the Thrift Store donation truck, bringing in items that are generously donated.

Cleaners--come in before and after hours to clean, vacuum and tidy up the store when there are no customers.

For Cooks!

Honor our pastors and elders as you provide only one food item for a dinner meeting at Southwest on one of two Mondays each month at 5 PM. Just deliver, no serving or clean up.
